Working with me

  • I may be one person, but I care a lot. Being a small business means I get the opportunity to give you all the attention you should be getting, not lumping you in with a mass number of clients and projects that divide my attention.

  • This answer isn’t the same for every project, or every client - so you’ll probably think I’m being vague on this answer…

    If we dot all the i’s and cross all the t’s, your best-case delivery time should roughly be:

    • Starter Websites - up to 4 weeks

    • Custom websites - up to 8 weeks

    Like everything in life, preparation is key. My goal as your designer is to finalise all planning and collect all assets before heading into the build phase of your project.

    Changes made to websites after the foundations have been built can exponentially increase your build time, so it pays off to be prepared!

    I will send you an email that spells out exactly what I need for your project, but in general:

    • A Service Agreement for you to sign before any work commences

    • Your project’s payment schedule

    • A questionnaire or workbook for all projects

    • A checklist of assets we require (or would be useful to us) to create your Website

    • A Google Sheet link for our to-do list for Half or Full Day Website Designer Hire bookings

  • Once your invoice has been paid in full and the project is completed, it is alllll yours. 👍🏻

Website packages

  • I use Squarespace to build and host my client’s websites! I’ve found it’s the easiest platform not only to create some great designs but also the easiest for my clients to make their own edits if and when needed.

    I’m also looking into learning the ins and outs of Shopify, Kajabi and Wordpress in 2024!

  • The curliest of curly questions I receive. 🤣

    I expect that it can take up to 4 weeks to build a website on the Starter package, and a Custom website can take anywhere between 4-8 weeks .

    Like everything in life, preparation is key - I give my clients at least 7 days to plan and collect assets for me before any building begins to make sure we avoid delays if at all possible!

  • Sure can!

    Squarespace hosts your website and charges an annual fee (this is included in your invoice to build the website).

    We recommend CrazyDomains and VentraIP for purchasing your domain and any email addresses, which we are more than happy to do on your behalf if needed.

  • We can definitely manage the website on your behalf, and you’ll find the info on our Web Designer Hire page! We especially recommend this service if you’re adding a big chunk of new content to your site but aren’t sure how to do it.

    That being said, if you want to take care of it yourself and you have any questions along the way, we are more than happy to give you a hand with that as well, just get in touch with us.

  • My Web Designer Hire service is just for you!

    You can book a Half Day (up to 4 hours) or Full Day (up to 7 hours) with me to take care of whatever you need help with.

  • I sure do!

    I understand that this can be a significant investment for businesses presently, so I have made Payment Plans available for custom websites. 🥳

    A $500 deposit is required once you have signed the Service Agreement, regardless of which package you choose with us.

    The payment schedule to follow is a minimum of $500/mo until the balance has been paid in full.

    Additional functionality that requires an annual subscription has the applicable fees due before we launch your website - this ensures everything functions as intended!

    Please also note that if you choose a Payment Plan rather than the entire amount upfront, your website ownership will be transferred to your Squarespace account once the owing balance has been paid in full.

Payment + Billing

  • All my packages are charged at set prices - hourly rates only apply to work that falls outside the scope of your project.

    The number of alterations available for your project plus their associated fees are set out in your proposal and contract from me.

    If you’re looking for minor alterations to your website, my Website Designer Hire service may be more up your alley.

  • There are two options available to pay for most of our services:

    • The full amount upfront

    • Payment Plans

    All packages have a deposit that is due when you sign our Service Agreement, regardless of which payment method you choose.

    My default payment methods are:

    Starter Website
    $500 deposit, $500 per month until paid in full.

    Custom Website
    20% deposit, $500 per month until paid in full.

    Notes for both Website packages:

    • Any functionality that requires an annual subscription is due before your website is made public - delays in payment will result in delays in launching your website as you require their specific functionality for your website to work as intended!

    • Complete ownership of your website is passed over when your quoted amount has been paid in full.

    Website Designer Hire
    $250 deposit to lock in a date and the remainder is due in full before your Half or Full Day booking date.

  • I prefer a bank deposit for payment, and my account details are given on your invoice.
